Torrents brings the arts to Confluence Center - Western Montana’s home for nonprofit events.
Created by Headwaters Foundation in 2023, Confluence Center is a space where community leaders come together to connect, collaborate, and get inspired. We’re proud to share artwork in a venue that celebrates both artistic expression and collective action.

What We Do:
At Torrents, we strive to create an inclusive and dynamic space that nurtures creativity, connection, and community. Through public events, First Fridays, and educational initiatives, we aim to spark meaningful conversations and amplify the voices of underrepresented groups, including BIPOC, women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, youth, and other marginalized communities
This space serves as a catalyst for artistic expression, dialogue, and exploration of important topics in a safe and welcoming environment. We invite all individuals to gather, engage with art, and form lasting connections in a space where everyone is encouraged to be authentic and celebrated for who they are.
Torrents’ first priority is to support our local Artists and art community. One way we do this is by providing a professional, beautiful space to showcase and sell their work...with no sales fee taken from the Artist! All art sales go through and 100% to the Artist, helping create a more financially viable venue for creatives of all levels.
We form all our programming and events around educating artists and providing them with professional, stepping-stone opportunities to help build their careers. From offering first-time experiences (artist talks, interviews etc) to portfolio coaching, we strive to help build a thriving arts community!
